I make a master pattern in each finger size & head size so I can often cast without joining

The video is based apon finishing a ring cast bespoke to customers finger size
In reality lost wax bulk cast rings are seldom the right size, hence my preference to sand cast rings bespoke to a clients finger size to order
As the majority of my 9ct rings weigh in excess of 8 grams and have an average retail price of £450.00 , it should be very apparent that for a small independant manufacturer having 50 rings bulk cast in this manner is most unlikely as they would have a value in region of £22,500-00

In order to supply cheaper signet rings , most manufacturers use a single rubber mould to produce each head size of signet ring and then restrict finger size options
Rule of thumb is to never make more than 3 sizes smaller , however bulk manufacturers will often re size by up to 10 sizes , often soldering in a section with 2 joins to make bigger
